With its latest update, the official Samsung Music app now has support for Android 10 and Android Auto allowing the app to integrate with Google’s in-car services.

Now Samsung users do not have to rely on the Spotify app for Android Auto for their in-car music needs. Once updated, the Samsung Music app will appear on the Android Auto home screen or under the music icon for those running older versions of Android Auto and as is the same with the Spotify app, Samsung Music users will be able to control and playback their music directly through their dash. The Samsung Music interface is simple as it is optimized for driving but it does show songs that are stored in the app and have an expandable menu allowing users to search for songs, playlists, artists, and albums.
The latest update, Samsung Music v16.2.20.19 is out now on the Galaxy Store as well as the Google Play store.
