If you’re the type of driver that wants to avoid cutting across three lanes at the last minute to get on the right freeway then you’ll be in for a treat. With the upcoming release of iOS 11, Apple Maps will include a lane guidance feature that will display on screen. There’s nothing worse then needing to merge onto a different freeway but find yourself in the wrong lane.
Another update coming to Apple Maps is that it will display the current speed limit of the route you are traveling on. While these two features are things that other navigation apps already had, it’s good to see Apple continue to refine their navigation experience.
