With more images leaking out ahead of Android Auto’s next big redesign, we get a sneak peek on the design direction… and it’s looking mighty familiar to Apple CarPlay.
Barrowing from CarPlay it is looking like Android Auto is going to moving to the multi-panel format allowing more information to be displayed at once. In the leaked image from AndroidWorld you can see the map displayed along with Spotify and notifications.
Also moving around is the status bar with the cell reception, time, and battery life has moved to the bottom right corner.
No word on a launch date but be on the lookout.
