Pioneer to Include a Backup Camera with Select NEX Models
Starting in February Pioneer will now include their ND-BC8 rearview camera with the following NEX models, AVH-4201NEX (MSRP $700), AVIC-6201NEX ($900), AVIC-7201NEX ($1,100) and the AVIC-8201NEX ($1,300). These bundles provide quite the savings, with certain packages being $100 cheaper then purchasing a head unit without a camera.
A backup camera is one of those features that after you use one, you’ll wonder how you ever managed to park without it. While backup cameras now come standard with many new vehicles, adding one to your car when it didn’t come standard might seem complicated but it’s actually pretty straightforward. Included with ND-BC8 camera is all the wiring and installation parts needed.
Utilizing a 1/4-inch color CMOS sensor with 310,000-pixel resolution this camera will provide excellent visibility in both the daytime and nighttime. Combined with the wide-angle lens the mounting hardware will allow you to adjust the camera angle to get the most viewable area possible on your car.
If a backup camera has been on your list of upgrades, now is a great time to take the plunge.
