Connecting creativity and car audio, Pioneer provided four of the country’s top car audio shops with a blank canvas to create a rolling soundstage for their Sound Build-Off competition.  Each build would be judged on sound quality and craftsmanship, to ensure an even playing ground each shop received a 2017 Toyota Highlander SE and a set list of products to use. Split into two different groups, the shops would either be using the new Pioneer Z series or D series speakers which were designed to deliver next level of sound quality by reproducing music that is closer to the original performance.

Pioneer Sound Build Off Hear More
After all of the dust had settled, these four shops brought their vehicles in for judgment day at the M.E.S.A Summit in Broomfield, CO. The craftsmanship of all four installs was outstanding but at the end of the day there can only be one winner. After listening for sound quality the judging panel ultimately gave the win for the Z build to Sound Warehouse from Utah and the D build winner going to Audio Source from Indiana.  If you would like a chance to check out these builds all four vehicles will be touring across the country, follow Pioneer on Facebook for the latest info.
